Story time with Nan
He has a special bond with his Nan. Asks for her everyday, gets upset if he doesn’t get to see her and gets so distressed when it is time to leave her house.
She is the only person that we trust to look after our special little commodity. No one has ever had the honour of looking after him except for Nan
Sweet Dreams
How I love the small window I have when he goes down for his day sleep. Since getting up at 5am he has been stretching these days sleeps out to 2 – 3 hours. They are bliss.
Hopefully he will keep them up for a long time to come.
Fussiness
I made a beautiful potato & chorizo tortilla for dinner tonight. He didn’t even try it, didn’t even lick it (which is what he normally does) or smell it. Just turned his nose up at it.
Instead of having the delicious meal that I cooked he wanted two pieces wholemeal bread, nothing on it . . just bread!
I have the world’s fussiest eater!!!
Duck diving
As per his usual afternoon routine he managed to convince his Daddy to take him swimming in the pool. This kid is definitely his father’s son. He is so comfortable and confident in the water, it frightens me!
He decided to try and dive in, from the squatting position . . . not so successful but 10 out of 10 for the little man for giving it a go!!
He loves Peppa Pig, absolutely adores the cartoon!
While I was bustling around the house this morning getting ready for work he decided to empty one of the kitchen drawers of every single stubby holder that was in there. Seeing so I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, bending over to pick up after him is no easy thing to do!
Let’s just say that ‘Piggy’ is a fabulous bribery tool.
Happy New Year!!
Looking at these two playing and laughing in the toy room reminded me that although I don’t wear designer clothes, drive an expensive car …and or have a lot of money in the bank, I truly am the richest person I know.
I have a gorgeous, loving husband. I have an incredibly perfect and healthy son. I have a 2nd incredibly perfect and healthy baby boy due in just 14 days. I have a roof over my head. Food in my cupboards. I am richer then a billionaire.
May this new year bring you all the wealth, love and happiness that 2012 has bought me. I have had such an amazing and wonderful year. I honestly can not wait to see what treasures 2013 brings!
I am back! It has been quite a while, longer then I can remember. I didn’t aim to be this absent for this long but life just got in the way.
I was having too much fun playing with my baby boy, who has just turned 2 years old by the way! Where on earth did the time go??
I am now expecting our second baby boy in 32 days!!!! Sometimes I wonder how I am going to get through those next 32 days being as big and uncomfortable as I am. Hopefully it will pass quickly.
Oh and I almost forgot, I recently got married. On August 4th of this year I married my knight in shining armour. It was a wonderful simple and intimate ceremony. You can see the photos at GP Boxshall Photography’s Facebook Page or on his website.
I have some things planned for next year, apart from the new addition to our beautiful family of course. I want to do another Project 365 where I take a photo a day for the whole of 2013. I did it and completed it in 2011 and it is amazing to go back and look at how things progressed and changed over the year.
